Free Kids Workshops at Home Depot

The second Saturday of each month, Home Depot host free kids workshops. Each workshop presents a unique and interesting project. Each child will get to build an item and receive a certificate and a pin. My kids have enjoyed making so many wonderful items.

A child, as defined on their site, is between the ages of 5 and 12.

At most locations, you are required to sign up in advance so they know how many spots are filled. There are limited spaces so be sure to register early.  Registration can be done at customer service counter in store.

Previously they have built and decorated pencil boxes, bird houses and gardening boxes. Home Depot does provide all the equipment required for the free kids workshops. including paint and tools. We do recommend wearing clothing that you are not afraid to have ruined, because as you know,  kids can get quite messy while doing these types of projects. We also recommend staying close to your child as they are using tools. Although staff stay in the area there are always safety risks. For more info visit Home Depot website.
